Cape Town tunnels

On April 17, 2013 by Christopher Smith

I recently assisted David and Matt guiding a group of Stellenbosh and U.C.T University Students through the tunnels that runs underneath the City of Cape Town (South Africa) and the Castle. These tunnels supplied water from the Table Mountain Platteklip stream and many others to the city in the mid 1600’s and was build by the V.O.C Dutch Company rule We started at the foot of Table Mountain and ended underneath the Cape Town Castle. There are very old treasures nestled in cracks to be found and the Finders keepers rule apply. With Matt Weisse www.goodhopeadventures.com
