Table Mountain day trail with M-j Curry

The month of June came with great surprise, as we all know winter months can be somewhat of a dead season but I am happy to announce that after 6months of hard work on getting the ratings up of the website. We secured our first of many guests via the website. Her name, Mary-Jane and she was great company and very cheerful. We started at the lower cable car station and made our way to Platteklip Gorge. Great weather almost too hot for winter but the sun was out, the birds were chirping and our spirits were high. Unfortunately we had to turn back, the heat was to much and as some of us know that flying from other countries and then going hiking the following day can be gruesome and a right shocker to ones body and we opted for the slack packers choice. Once at the top of the cable car station we then slowly made our way to Mclear’s Beacon the highest point of Table Mountain before going round the dams and down to Constantia-Nek via the Bridal path. With clear and sunny skies, one could not ask for anything more. It was a perfect day for enjoying the splendours of nature in good spirit.
