Warren and Gillian met me in Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens during the Easter weekend. After I had just completed a guided tour Gillian politely approached me and asked if I would be so kind to show them around and do a guide tour of the ever so famous Kirstenbosch botanical gardens.
I showed Gillian and Warren around the Garden , sharing as much knowledge of the flowers and history of the Kirstenbosch botanical gardens.
Gillian and Warren was so satisfied with my guided service of the Kirstenbosch botanical gardens that Gillian made sure to find me and book an educational and informative Table Mountain Guided Hiking Tour. We opted for the Full day Table Mountain Guided hiking Tour. We started at the Pipe track and made our way to Kasteels poort. On route I explained why the Cape Floral Kingdom is so unique and what sets it apart from all the other Floral Kingdoms in the world. The Sugar Birds gave us a great show of their beautiful long feathered tails and the Sunbirds dotting and diving in and out of the Fynbos with brightly coloured Double Collared and Orange breast’s . The view along this route is amazing looking over Camps Bay.
We had a slightly late start to the day but we were in excellent shape. We had a brief stop before heading up to the dams via Kasteels poort. A quick photo stop along the way and time to take in this amazing view while the Confetti Bush scented the area with its Citrus aroma.
Upon arriving at the top of Kasteels poort we headed straight for the Old Cable car ruins before heading to the dams on top of Table Mountain.
we made a brief stop at the Waterworks Museum before heading to our lunch stop along Kitchen ravine.
after Lunch we headed for the Table Mountain Arial Cable way. The weather was great, offering great views of the Peninsula and I could point out what we were looking at in the distance and the opposite mountain ranges. We reached the top in goood timing. Warren and Gillian was please to have had such a great experience and memorable guided Table Mountain Guided Hiking Tour. I was Happy to deliver on their request and also got to enjoy a day out doing what I Love.
